Abstract

Acne is one of the most common dermatological diseases in the world. Despite many studies, this problem remains relevant and is far from always successfully treatable. In recent decades, scientific attention has focused on the role of the skin microbiome in the development of acne. This paper will look at the latest scientific findings related to the effect of the microbiome on acne, as well as potential ways to use this knowledge for more effective treatment.
